Who has been diagnosed with Osteopenia or Osteoporosis
That is looking to prevent Osteoporosis
Pre and Post-Menopausal (women)
Resistant to pharmaceutical treatment and wants to do a natural way instead
Looking for strength & balance exercises to help bone growth
Who struggles with balance and is at fall risk...
If so, you are in the right spot.
When it comes to health, we talk a lot about heart disease, cancer prevention, weight loss, inflammation, memory, gut health and how an unhealthy diet and poor exercise can prematurely age you...
These are all very reasonable things everyone should consider.
But how often do we think about how healthy our bones are ?
Not often enough, I’d suspect.
The reason being that we don’t feel bone pain unless it turns into too much of a bad thing: breaks or fractures, change in health, etc.
Unfortunately, we wait for a REACTION to the event, instead of PREVENTING to avoid what not doing anything will cause.
Here's the truth, having a lower bone density isn’t painful...
In fact, osteoporosis and osteopenia do not cause pain. That’s why they are called the “SILENT DISEASE", because most adults are not checked until the age of 65 for their bone density scores or until they fall or fracture a bone (a reaction to the event)...
But here’s the kicker…
Oftentimes, our bone density can start decreasing as early as our late to mid-40's, women especially.
Some women can decrease their bone density even more rapidly up to 10% per year right before and during menopause.
Men lose bone density at a much slower rate, but they continue to lose bone density as they age.
And often, as men age they tend to be more sick with a larger amount of other diseases as they age than women, leaving them susceptible to earlier mortality due to falls, fractures, and or other health concerns.
This is concerning that we aren't getting ahead of this sooner for many people before the age of 65 or worse yet, they only start testing you when and if you fall and fracture your hip...
That's what's happening for many people in today's health system.
Now that you know this - how do you avoid worsening bone health that turns into osteopenia or osteoporosis?
Even more - can osteoporosis or osteopenia be reversed?
The research shows a resounding YES to all of this. We can slow the breakdown of bone and reverse osteopenia or osteoporosis with the right tools in your toolbox: Proper nutrition, resistance training, impact training, fall training, & lifestyle changes.
And as I always stand behind… you can do this WITHOUT pills or any other unnatural way.
(Side note: those pills have nasty side effects and are terribly hard to get off.)
Better yet, building strong bones can be done by anyone at any age in their life.
And you can improve your bone density by 4 to 12% per year! If that doesn’t have you screaming AMEN, I don’t know what will.
Think about it - if you LOSE 2% on average every year naturally from age, but you improve your bone density by 4-12% each year… That means you are up 2-10% year on year improving your bone health and REVERSING that diagnosis back to normal again.
There are multiple ways to achieve this for yourself, and I’m going to cover all that you need to know about what that journey looks like inside my “HAPPY & HEALTHY BONES” course and I’ll show you my coined “Osteoporosis Movement Flows” and the other trainings you need to stay healthy and happy as you age.
